A trio of high-level fashion professionals spent a whole day at Parsons Paris to assess the first phase of the Senior students’ Thesis Collections. Each student could seize this unique opportunity to present and discuss the individual work achieved since September, and to get personalized advice from experienced fashion designers.
The panel was composed of: Christoph Hefti (Textile Designer at Acne Studios, formerly Textile Designer at Balenciaga and at Lanvin, and Textile Designer + Creative Assistant of Dries van Noten for 13 years); Franc’ Pairon (Founding-director of Fashion Design Department at La Cambre and Founding-director of the Master in Fashion Design at Institut Français de la Mode); and Marc Schils (Director of Product Development at Chloé since 2012, formerly Director of Prêt-à-Porter Development at Nina Ricci, and Director of Studio at Rochas). The pool will come back in May 2017 to discover the final BFA collections of the students.
