The Introduction to Textiles class, taught by contemporary artist Brankica Chauvain, introduces sophomore students to the experimental techniques of weaving, embroidering, transforming felts and other materials into creative materialities. Fabric manipulation allows fashion designers to explore new artistic paths that add strength and expressivity to their design work.
