The Institut National des Métiers d’Art (INMA) and Parsons Paris are launching a unique artistic collaboration that will bring together, for the first time, international design students and French masters of art.
INMA is a world renowned platform under the auspices of the French Ministry of Culture where the rare know-how of the best artisans in France is preserved, supported and enhanced.
The institute is dedicated to the development of exceptional art forms that Parsons Paris fashion design students will experience and integrate creatively in their final thesis collections.
The project entails 14 students in their senior year along with 12 INMA professionals who will create a dialogue between heritage, craftsmanship and innovation to produce contemporary pieces that will be exhibited in both Paris and New York.
