Franc’ Pairon, founding-director of fashion programs at La Cambre in Brussels and at Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, who now defines herself a Fashion Energizer shared with students a cutting edge vision of how creativity should be understood and managed by emergent fashion designers.
Taking as examples the professional trajectories of some influential contemporary fashion designers who have been her students, like Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski – Creative Director of Hermès – or Guillaume Henry – Creative Director of Nina Ricci -, Pairon has shown how expressing and affirming a strong personal identity is the key element to a successful career.
On Nov 8th, each senior fashion student was offered the rare opportunity to have a one-on-one tutoring session with Franc’ Pairon to discuss the preliminary phase of the thesis final collection project.
