As a conclusion to their design studio project, Sophomore students had the chance to discuss their work with Delphine Bellini (Adjunct CEO of Maison Schiaparelli), Franck Sagne (Marketing Director of Maison Schiaparelli), and Laure du Pavillon (Expert in the transmission of the Métiers des Arts de la Mode – for Maison Lesage among others – formerly Communication Director of Christian Lacroix from 1987 to 2009).
Many students have interpreted hidden aspects of Elsa Schiaparelli’s life and artistic investigations with the purpose of connecting her cutting-edge vision to contemporary political realities or issues related to imagination, ethnicity, representation and identity. A huge challenge for students who deal with their very first fashion design project!
