Parsons Paris SDM students have the unique opportunity to imagine and realize a real life event open to the general public.
The final assignment of the « Managing team and creative projects » course is complex and varied. Students need to organize from A to Z a Pop Up Store: from the invitation, to the curation of the content of the shop, from the connections with the designers to the management of the financial budget…
Design students learn to embrace the process of creating and this experience give them the possibility to experiment team work, deadlines and creative process. Students use for this project : team-building and collaboration tools, including time-management, leadership, they also practice feedback and conflict resolution skills.
On the evening of 24th November, Parsons Paris students hosted their 2nd annual pop up store, « Les Mécanismes de Creations ». 14 students sold their own products during this show, from clothing to photography. There was also music, drinks, photo booths and a lot of fun.
