Parsons Paris students had the opportunity to meet Cécilia Bönström, Creative Director of Zadig & Voltaire, in the studio where she and her team work, then in the showroom of the company. The discussion was intense and covered strategic topics such as the positioning of the brand, the evolution of the iconic pieces, the collaboration with visual artists, the strategic sourcing in the supply chain, the specificities of the cashmere products, and the design and production of leather accessories.
This unique insight into the identity of Zadig & Voltaire and the process of designing and producing fashion collections was followed by an immersion in the collection of contemporary art of CEO Thierry Gillier who exchanged a few words with the students.
